lightning snake

from my novel"The Atikus Tree" , Renz's nephew, Giovanne Arognus has a talaa tangata the same as all the others.( I.E: Renz=wolf-bat, Kane= falcon-Cameleon, Dracula -in many movies becomes a bat-,etc.) you get the idea...
well, Van's talaa-tangata is the "lightning snake"- part water moccassin(sp?), part lightning bug(of all things!)
scales are black and darkgray, the tail and eyes glow yellow-green.
